This park was immaculately maintained and all facilities were in working order. The free continental breakfast is nothing to get excited over. The park has a Camping World store essentially on premises and is located next to two large RV dealers. Beaudry has a huge RV service center with about 30 service bays. The immediate surrounding area is industrial in nature and near the Tucson airport. Park physical security is excellent. We stayed 4 nights and would stay again.
Rate reflects Good Sam discount and the larger pull-thru site. Slightly shorter pull-thru sites are about $4-5 less per night. Great spot to stay if you want to visit the city of St Louis. Located directly across the river from the Arch with easy commuter trolley access from the Park. Shuttles to the nearby Casino. The park itself is very well kept with a mini-mart right on site. Good security as might be expected for a casino site although the park is located in an industrial area. Nice restrooms although one shower in the men's room needed some mold removal and a fresh coat of paint. Convenient laundry. We'll definitely stay here again when passing through.
Rate is before any discounts and doesn't include 15% tax. Park is a little dated and sites are mixed in with a few mobile homes, but it's well-maintained and everything is functional. Almost all sites are shaded. They are rather narrow and tight when cars are parked between rigs, but are not side-by-side hookups. The showers were small and tight but clean with plenty of hot water. The park's main attraction is its easy access to downtown via inexpensive bus service with a stop right at the park's entrance. Also, there is plenty of local shopping in the immediate vicinity. We would stay here again if we wanted access to downtown Santa Fe, which is a great place.
We stayed here 2 nights. Rate includes 16% local taxes. Pull-through sites are all side-by-side; other sites are not. Our site was long enough for our 37' motorhome plus Jeep in tow. Free Wi-Fi was very fast when it was on. It was usually not on until late afternoon and evening. It's a long walk from most parts of the park to laundry, restrooms and dumpster. The restrooms and showers were spacious and clean. Though in an industrial area and close to the highway, noise was not bad. We would stay here again for a day or two, but not long term.
This is an Escapees Park. Rate for Escapees is $12.50/night plus electric. Ample size gravel sites and basic amenities, but nothing fancy. It was windy, and consequently dusty, while we were here, but that's common in this area. It's a good overnight stop at a good price, but not enticing for a long stay. We would stay here again for an overnight.
The current name of this park is Pratt County Veterans Memorial Park. Daily rate for electric (30/50 amp) & water hookup is $15. Dump station is available. Dry camping on one of the 32 sites which extend into the lake is $5. Take 25th St. east of Pratt south for 1 mile to Lake Rd, then east 1/2 mile to camping area. Paved road in the park and 10 long level gravel back-in sites with wide grassy areas separating sites. Trash containers at each site. Restrooms are OK, but no showers. Well-maintained walking trail through the marsh adjacent to camping area. Fishing in lake requires a Kansas fishing license. We had a great lunch at the Uptown Cafe in Pratt; you won't go away hungry. This is a really nice park, and we will definitely stay here again.
The rate reflects a Good Sam discount. It is a good spot at a reasonable price. The facilities are a little worn, but improvements are in progress. There are actually 18 long pull-through sites which allow two rigs to hook up back to back (as opposed to side by side) providing for 36 hookup sites total. The sites are gravel with grassy area between them and picnic bench/table at each site. The restrooms were spacious, clean with plenty of hot water and good shower heads. We stayed 2 nights and would stay here again.
This is a beautiful spot in a remote location on the plains. The nearest "town" is Kenton, 8 miles away where you will find a small general store and two gas pumps. Don't arrive here low on fuel because you may have to travel a long way - depending on which direction you're heading - before you can refuel. There is a country store on the park grounds, but plan to have everything you need with you before you arrive. There are a dozen or so sites with 30-amp and water, one pull thru. Also many other dry camp sites. $2 off rates for seniors (over 62). Be sure to you know directions before you travel because some of the turns and roads are not marked. Also, depending on your carrier, you probably will not have cell phone coverage in the park. Lots of hiking opportunities and plenty of wild life. We had mule deer and wild turkeys strolling around our RV each morning we were there. We will stay here again when passing though.
